What rabbit bedding do u use?

I always use Hay, but I think its untreated which isnt good, and for treated costs too much money as I have 3 rabbits in 3 different hutches

so what do most people use? What rabbit bedding do u use?
Rabbit fur, lolWhat rabbit bedding do u use?
Wood shavings,,,,or Straw,,,not,,,sawdust gets in there eyes,,,,,
I lay down some newspaper (which the rabbit will shred) and on top of the newspaper I use wood shavings. The problem with just using hay or grass is that the Rabbit eats it all.
I use sawdust and straw because my rabbit eats all the hay.
i use a mixture of hay and straw for their bed areas. i use some longs bits but some short as they use the long bits to make their sleeping area and the rest to make the floor comfy.

i know what u mean about costs i have to in seperate hutches.
Use wood shavings, but NOT CEDAR. Use either pine shavings or straw.
i use wood shavings with hay and straw on top
shredded news paper

xx
I have a guinea pig but, hey, they're the same thing lol.

I use sawdust on the bottom of the cage (which soaks up any pee n stuff) and then put hay on top which she can eat and get comfy in.

i use sawdust/wood shvings you can buy in huge bags form pets at home or a farm shop

i tried giving them paper in their sleeping compartment but they eat it so i think theyd do the same with hay
i use safe4pets bedding to line the hutch then i give them hay which i buy from a farm as i have quite a few rabbits (i take in unwanted bunnies and small furries) and some chickens. All my rabbits are vaccinated foy myxomatosis as a precaution as there is always a risk with untreated hay
i have three rabbits and a ferret and both are known for smelling lol and i use this stuff called ';care fresh'; it is the only really good healthy thing out there besides hay and they wont eat it and it absorbes very very well and they love to dig in it and play with it and its good for there feet if you use it on the inside and it has odor control you can find it in places like petco or petsmart and other pet stores
You should use a combination of Carefresh bedding made from recycled paper and hay. Carefresh is great! It really reduces odour and doesn't cause allergic reactions with bedding such as cedar , lemon scented and pine shavings. They should be fed a good supply of hay daily. Definitely use that Carefresh for their bedding.
what ever you do, do NOT use cedar, rabbits are allergic to it. use pine or you can just shred newspaper, that works really well and it's cheap. make sure you use not a bunch, but not a little, use in between there.
aspen and pine mixed and then on the cages that have wire and then the tray at the bottom i use kay-kob

Hope this helps
