Should i get a male rabbit for my female rabbit?

i have a got a female rabbit which i have had for 3 years should i get a male rabbit for her preffurable over 6 months oldShould i get a male rabbit for my female rabbit?
NO... they multiply - well, like rabbits! There are more rabbits on this planet than humans, we don't need anymore. Besides, what are you going to do with all of their offspring?? They'll be popping out a new batch before you can even find homes for the first.

If you are taking care of your rabbit well, you are the only companion she needs. But if you still feel that she needs some extra company have him neutered, and be careful with introductions.

**Edit**

Good for you having her fixed! Not only does it control population, but she will be healthier in the long term for it. In that case then you can go right ahead and get her a friend. Your best bet would be to get her another male - it's usually the easiest introduction. You can find information on that in the link I provided. Take the introduction really slow though, bad introductions can cause life long hatred, or at least it's really hard to fix.Should i get a male rabbit for my female rabbit?
NOOOOO your rabbit is too old it WILL kill her. You need to breed your girl rabbit for the first time before she is 12 months old. After 12 months there bones set and if they havent had a litter the babys get stuck
no don't do that not only could you have lots of baby Bunny's running around but they might fight and hurt each other if she if she has been on her own this long she might not like having anything put in with her as shes made it her home but if shes OK about it get a Guinea pig as company
i would slowly introuduce them. dont put them in her cage cause bunnies are teritorial. if you dont have the male already i would say dont get it you can put stuffed toys in there for her and that will keep her company.
NOOOO!! they breed like CRAZY! If u want a girl rabbit and you already have a male then I hope you like dinner a la rabbit cause thats the only way not to end up with 40 others
No, or you'll end up with a HELLA LOT OF BUNNIES!

The phrase ';at it like rabbits'; refers to how much they reproduce! Unless you want to be overrun with rabbit babies?
If she is not used to company then I would suggest not. After that length of time she will be fixed in her ways and best left on her own.
Get another female rabbit! Get them both neutered. xx
yep.... everyone needs some loving.... even rabbits
