Rabbit or Dog I was thinking of getting a rabbit but I am not sure whether I will liked it.?

I want to get a rabbit but am not sure about it. I have had dogs in the past but I just don't want to deal with a dog and taking it out. I would also like a rabbit because there a lot easier to take with you then a dog.Rabbit or Dog I was thinking of getting a rabbit but I am not sure whether I will liked it.?
Well get what you think you want.

If you want a rabbit then get that if you want a dog get a dog.

But dogs are smart but more responsibility.

Rabbits are furry and cute. You don't have to worry about poop alot of times. But dogs outside poop in the yard but rabbits don't do that alot.Rabbit or Dog I was thinking of getting a rabbit but I am not sure whether I will liked it.?
Both will need time %26amp; commitment for the entirety of their natural life. A dog may live 15+ years, whereas a rabbit will live to around 10 (both dependent on breed %26amp; care).

Both need company, correct diet, veterinary care etc.

Rabbits can be just as difficult %26amp; costly to care for. They need yearly vaccines against Myxomatosis %26amp; VHD (Viral Hemorrhagic disease) %26amp; can have numerous dental problems if not given the correct food (both dry pellet %26amp; fresh veg etc). Then there's insurance %26amp; the time you need for general maintenance %26amp; exercise. There is alot to consider for both, so please think long %26amp; hard %26amp; research well.

Good luck.
Speaking from experience, when I got my two rabbits I thought they would be a piece of cake to look after, but I was wrong.

I love my rabbits to pieces, but they require a lot of attention, but if you are willing to give them time, they are worth it.

They are also not particularly cheap. You need to buy a decent sized hutch- bigger the better. A good sized run, bedding and food. They also need a myxi jab bi-annually, VHD jab annually and be treated to prevent flystrike.

You also need to change their litter tray, water, food daily and groom them (even short haired) daily to check for flystrike.

And don't forget rabbits live around 8yrs + so if you think getting a rabbit is the easier option you are wrong.
Dog's, believe it or not, are easer to take care of. they're inside and outside animals, and more self sufficient. a dog you can play with, a rabbit, not so much, it depends really. rabbits are fun, and adorable! ^.^ and cost less to maintain. rabbits aren't really ';take with you'; pets. and dogs actually can be depending the size and place you're going. It depends on what you like, or don't like... but if you get a rabbit thinking it will be easy, wrong. Pets are big responsibilities, and responsibilities aren't meant to be easy, that's what their responsibilities.
well rabbits need lots of care and u need to clean there there cage all the time and they smell but dogs need exercise .... depending on the dog. if u like to run get a golden retriever if your the person that's likes to sit on the couch get a pug or Chiwawa ... lol anyway there's lots of breeds out there look on google and Research before u make a decision i have a pug dog therere really smart cute and lovable they do great with kids... mines name is guinness hes the most lovable thing on earth if i were u i would get a dog bit thats y fav. animal so watever u do will be the right choice.and if u dont want to take a dog out get a fence arond ur yard that always works! thanx! :D
you dont have to potty train a rabbit :D

but i used to have one and it had babies and ate them all :(
A dog is a companion for life and so is a rabbit, but there is much more you can do with your dog than you can with a rabbit. It really depends on what you want from your pet.
